Candidates should be certified with a GX or GQ certificate and meet NCLB highly qualified endorsement. Preference will be given to a candidate with a highly qualified certificate in a core area. The candidate should also possess:
- The ability to teach Accounting and Accounting II
- The ability to teach computer courses, including basic computing, Web Page Design, Computer Programming, and Desktop Publishing
- Have the knowledge and desire to run a Business Professionals of America club and class
- Knowledge and experience creating assessments aligned to High School Content Expectations
- Working knowledge of reading and writing strategies to improve student achievement.
- Ability to use differentiated instruction with high school students.
