Principal Welcome Message:
I consider it a great pleasure and honor to serve as the Principal of West Elementary School. As an educator, I believe that children are gifts filled with boundless potential. Through the efforts of the school and community, we are able to help students develop their skills and talents and prepare them for continued success far beyond their elementary years. It is clear that the Lakewood Community is vested in producing happy, healthy children. Our school must be a learning environment, but, equally important, a caring environment in which children are accepted for their unique intelligences and gifts. Continuing this focus for our school, we all (students, staff, parents, and community) will perform beyond expectations.
We are very proud of the educational progress that our students continue to make each year and remain confident that the current school year will yield the same successes. We look forward to working with each student and providing great educational experiences.
