Principal Welcome Message:

Welcome to our school! Clarksville Elementary is a small school nestled in a quiet rural community with dedicated staff members who maintain high academic standards and value the unique talents and gifts of each student. The supportive family atmosphere, both in our school and community, reflects our commitment to helping students become responsible citizens of good character.

We are a Michigan Accredited School and we are proud of our students’ academic progress and achievements. You will find that we offer a wide range of learning opportunities and individualized learning programs.

We embrace the fact that students achieve best when school and family communicate and work together. We have developed and continue to explore many ways for parents to be informed of their child’s goals and progress as well as school events. We encourage students and parents to become involved and have an active P.T.O.

I speak for the entire staff when I say we feel honored and grateful for the opportunity to be a part your child’s education experience.  We understand you want a world-class education for your child and we’re committed to provide one.

Sincerely,
Cindy Trebian
Principal

world.

We Believe… The Critical Elements of Success in Learning are
Cyclical

STUDENTS WE Believe…

  • Children enter school with a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
  • Children have different learning styles.
  • All children have strengths.
  • All children can strengthen each intelligience, so we must provide opportunities for them to learn.
  • Children must be able to assess their own work.
  • Children must be actively involved in their own learning.

STAFF WE Believe…

  • Can create a climate that is conducive to learning in the classroom.
  • Needs to recognize/teach the eight types of intelligence.
  • Must promote their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses.
  • Feels that the school needs to provide a safe and comfortable
    learning environment.
  • Will be lifelong learners and will be involved in professional development.

THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY

  • Should be involved in school functions.
  • Should be informed about school functions through a school
    newsletter.
  • Understands how the P.T.O. enhances the children’s educational opportunities.
