How's the weather? Ms. Lafave's Social Studies students can break it down. Climate graphs were used today to illustrate the average temperature and rainfall experienced at a particular location over the course of time. Ms. Lafave's instruction made it easy for her students to graph average temperatures, study precipitation data and geography. Students learned how to construct a graph, label it, and measure precipitation using a scale. What a great way to infuse math, geography, reading, and even a little artistic skill into this lesson. Ms. Lafave's students were on point and interested in analyzing the data. It was a highly engaging and fun lesson for Lakewood students. That's why today we celebrate Ms. Lafave as Lakewood Middle School #TalentedTeacher!
