Art That Looks Up
High School Students Trade Ceiling Masterpieces for Program Support

Art is looking up at our high school—literally! Today, our talented first-semester students presented three original ceiling tile masterpieces to Lakewood's Board of Education member, Mr. Adam McArthur. In exchange for these one-of-a-kind works of art, Mr. McArthur made a donation that will help fuel our students' artistic journeys for the rest of the year. We are excited and proud of this cool collaboration between our art instructor, Mr. Miller and Board of Education Trustee, Mr. McArthur. “The students enjoyed this project so much, they asked if they can do it again,” said Miller. He was happy to note that students will have future opportunities to transform ceiling tiles into permanent canvases. We are so proud of our students, LET’S GO VIKINGS!

Winterfest glow assembly!

The Winterfest Dance will be held from 6pm to 9pm this evening. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Drinks and snacks will be sold.

Congratulations to Madison Fenlong for signing with Albion to play softball

YAC, NHS and Student Council joined together to collect non perishable food items to help families in the community. Thursday will be the last day for students to bring items to the high school. If you are able, please send items with your high school student! All items will be donated to Manna's Market.

Congratulations to Senior Emma Duffy who, surrounded by family, friends, teammates, and coaches, signed her National Letter of Intent this morning! Emma is committed to playing volleyball at the University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee. Way to work, Emma! Go Vikings!

Tonight is the last home game of the season for the Vikings Varsity Football . They kick off against the Ionia Bulldogs at 7:00pm!

Homecoming is under way! Kickoff tonight is at 6pm.
