5th grade students enjoy a fun afternoon at Swiftys.

6th graders at Lakewood Middle School have found a reading refuge in Mr. Kutch's English Language Arts class. Each quarter, students who display academic excellence in the area of reading and writing were given the opportunity to participate in a book club with peers in their class. Books clubs held weekly meetings to discuss their stories and share opinions. A luncheon with literature inspired food marks the end of each quarter, where students share their novels with the other book clubs and enjoy a meal together. It's great to be a reader at Lakewood!

Be sure to stop by Lakewood Middle School for our LMS Elective Expo tonight!

All 4th grade parents are invited to attend our informational meeting at the middle school this evening!

We are excited to have our local public libraries here today during our lunches! Be sure to stop by the library this summer for their great summer programs!

All thanks to the Lakewood Education Foundation (LEF) the middle school has new badminton equipment. This will allow the students to focus on developing motor skills and improve eye hand coordination while having fun.
Fifth grade, Mrs. Honhart’s class, had the opportunity to break the equipment in and they throughly enjoyed the game.
Once again, thank you LEF for supporting our students & teachers.

High School representatives met with our 8th grade class today to discuss the process to be on Student Council or Student Government as a freshman!

LMS PE students go back on the bikes! We can OUTRIDE anything!

Students had the opportunity to learn how you can turn trash into art! Trash and old materials were donated to the class, and students created their very own masterpiece for all to enjoy. This installation art was created by our 6th and 7th grade art students in honor of Earth Day!
