    1. Go beyond the academic credit requirements by adding more math, science, English language arts, or world languages credits; or completing a department-approved formal career and technical education program.
    2. Modify the State Content Standards for Mathematics.
    3. Modify, when necessary, the credit requirements of a student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
    4. Modify credit requirements for a student who transfers from out of state or from a nonpublic school and is unable to meet the MMC requirements.

    Special Education Students:

Students with any IEP, regardless of services received, can modify any portion of the MMC. This can include a reduction the specific types of classes required, or even credits needed to graduate. All modifications must be approved by the district representative to ensure a High School Diploma can be issued in good faith.
