    Hello, my name is Ericka Mitchell and I am the Head Middle School Band Director and Assistant High School Band Director at Lakewood Public Schools. I am in my fourth year of teaching and second year at Lakewood. My main instrument is Saxophone and I studied at Central Michigan University with Professor John Nichol where I participated in concert band, marching band, saxophone quartet, saxophone ensemble, and gave solo recitals.

    I love to spend my time outside of school with my husband and dogs filling our time with outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and watersports. We moved into the Lakewood community this past spring and are very excited to get more acquainted with the area!!!
