First and foremost, I want each of the families in Room 102 to know how much I miss seeing their children each and every day! As Lakewood heads into distance learning for the remainder of the 2019/2020 school year I want each family to know I am here for them, WHATEVER their need may be! Please do not ever hesitate to reach out with questions/concerns as we all try to navigate this distance learning together!
A little bit about myself...I am a lifelong resident of the Lakewood School District. I received my teaching degree from C.M.U. where I completed half of my student teaching at Kenowa Hills Public, and the other half in Perth, Australia. I completed my masters at G.V.S.U. in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Educational Differentiation. This is my tenth year teaching at Lakewood, and it is my true passion! I currently live in the Clarksville area with my husband Kyle and our two boys. Ethan turned 10 in July and will be in fourth grade this year! Eli is 7 years old, and so excited to be joining the L.E.S. building! We have a 12 year old Daisy dog named Layla who goes everywhere with us! We have enjoyed our summer playing outside, traveling, swimming, golfing, and reading many great books. We love spending time in our boat on Morrison Lake during the summer, and heading north every chance we get in the winter for downhill skiing! I am extremely motivated and energetic, and will put forth as much effort as possible to help your child grow and succeed during their year in third grade.
