Mrs. Setter

  • Hello! My name is Mrs. Setter and I am a first grade teacher at Lakewood Elementary School. This is my 14th year teaching and my 7th year a Lakewood Elementary. Before Lakewood I taught 2nd grade at William C Abney Academy in Grand Raids. During my time here in Lakewood I have taught a 1st/2nd grade Mulitage classroom, 3rd grade and now 1st grade. My husband Jason and I have 2 kids, Olivia and Nolan. We also have 3 cats and 1 dog. When I am not teaching I love spending time going to our cabin up north, being outside, playing softball and reading. 

  • Read Works Non-Fiction Reading Passages

    I have assigned students non fiction reading passages. They can choose an article that I have assigned to them that is of interest. They read the article and answer the comprehension questions. THey can submit their answers to me when complete. They also have access to the library to choose other articles that may interest them. To access the site
