Hi!!

I am so excited to be part of the Lakewood community! 

I am a 2015 graduate of Ferris State University and I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in special education at Grand Valley State University. After graduating from Ferris, I taught 4th grade as a long term sub in Grand Rapids.  I was an academc interventionist with Kentwood Public Schools for two years working with English language learners and students receiving special education services. Last school year, I worked in Cedar Springs helping students with reading and math. 

Outside of school, I enjoying reading, cooking and spending time with my family. My husband, Aaron, and I are the proud parents of two children.  My son, Ben, is 18 and is a member of the Class of 2020 at Forest Hills Eastern High School. Our daughter, Alice, is 15 and is finishing her freshman year of high school. 

I am proud to be a teacher at LES. Go Vikes!
